His visit is scheduled here for the first time after he lost the Lok Sabha election from this seat.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="">Party spokesman Arun Kumar Yadav said Sharad would visit the flood-affected areas of this district to take stock of the situation.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="">He would also preside over a meeting of party workers during his stay here.

JD(U) sources said he would also visit the flood-ravaged areas of Saharsa and Supaul districts.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="">Madhepura is likely to face another Lok Sabha election reportedly in October or November this year.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="">Sharad Yadav was defeated by RJD supremo and rail minister Lalu Prasad Yadav. Lalu resigned from this seat and retained Chhapra.</span></div> </div>
